Nos Entrepreneur: Giandra de Cuba of Level-Up Leadership & Personal Development
Known as the owner of Level-Up Leadership & Personal Development, Giandra de Cuba describes herself as a positive, courageous person who is always smiling. She considers herself an action taker and is passionate for the causes she believes in. She is a mom of a 10 year old boy and is also the president of Kiwanis San Nicolas. You could say she is a multi-tasker who loves what she does.

So how did Giandra get into the field of personal development? Toastmasters, she immediately responds. “This is where I learned that I truly enjoy facilitating, training and mentoring”
Fun fact: Giandra is the first person in Aruba to be certified in the LEGO Serious Play method. Now what exactly is LEGO Serious Play (also known as LSP) you ask? LSP is a methodology for creative problem solving, strategy development, scenario building and communication enhancer by using LEGO bricks. This new method helps companies solve complex problems with the input of all stakeholders, consensus can be reached at the play table, complex problems can be solved in a swift manner, and everyone has the ability to speak up and in a safe environment.
It gives voice to everyone who is part of either the problem or the solution. Anyone can be at the playing table, from the security opening the door to the CEO of a company.

We wonder- how can a company measure the results of such a creative method?
Giandra explains that all sessions are objective-based, therefore everyone agrees prior to the session that the results are that the client wishes. Additionally, a key aspect of this overall is the communication that arises during the session. All of the players participate in the discussion, therefore giving a wide range of knowledge and expertise to everyone playing.

So let’s get to know Giandra on a more personal note. When asked what her favorite things to do outside of work are she says that she enjoys reading, dancing and having great conversations with friends.
Her gift-giving tips to co-workers for the holiday season? The best holiday gifts you can give are tumblers, plants, or calendars with quotes.
Giandra’s personal motto is: Life is ever-changing. What does she intepret of this motto?
Giandra explains that “you should be ready and dare to change quickly to enjoy life again and again.”
When asked how she envisions her role/company evolving in the next 3 years, she explains that she would like to facilitate and speak internationally and also grow her team with more facilitators.
