Bombshell & Co. | A Mompreneur’s Story
For the month of May, we decided to dedicate our Bold blog to mompreneurs, in honor of Mother’s day. We believe Mother’s day should be celebrated year long but it’s extra special to highlight them around this time. In today’s article we highlight a young Mompreneur.
Stephany Croes is 25 years old and is the founder of Bombshell & Co, a skincare company that produces organic and vegan home made body scrubs. Stephany is a mom to little Logan who is 2 years old, she is a partner and a business owner.
Being a mom is Stephany’s top priority and it’s her daily motivation to work hard and continue innovating and creating new products for her growing business.
The start of Bomshell & Co.
Founded officially in 2021, Bombshell & Co. was born out of the love Stephany has for skin care, cosmetics and fashion. Bombshell & Co. is a vegan and cruelty free brand, made with 100% love. Last year during quarantine, Stephany started experimenting with the body scrubs and she started offering these to family members to try out. After sharing these and receiving so much positive feedback, Stephany was really driven and motivated so she decided to take the courageous step to launch her own business and make her dreams a reality and so Bombshell & Co. was born in the beginning of 2021. Stephany says that having healthy skin makes her feel attractive, so she wants her customers to feel the same way as well when they use Bombshell & Co. products.
We asked: how did you come up with the name “Bombshell”?
“Bombshell means “a very attractive woman”, that’s where the name comes from! Because my home made body scrubs made me feel so good about myself, I wanted to share them with as many people as possible so they too could feel how I feel. It was important for me to create affordable, accessible and all natural skin care products, something that would make you feel and smell good.” says Stephany.
Mompreneur Tips
Balancing a career and being a mom can definitely be challenging but Stephany tells us that she gets her support from her family, especially her partner and her sisters. We asked Stephany to share a few tips on how to balance mom and work life.
One of Stephany’s tips is to visualize your dream life. You can do this by creating a vision board or writing down your goals, it’s important to really envision this so you know which direction you are heading and to also motivate yourself to keep going.
As important as it is to visualize, you should also align your actions with your goals. Write down those goals, both short-term and long-term and place an action plan on how you will be achieving these goals. Your goals can be professionally, personally or both.
Stephany says to always have faith in the process. Starting a new venture of your own can be really exciting and scary at the same time, it’s part of entrepreneurship, you will have you high and lows, but always have faith.
Lastly, Stephany leaves us with this tip: take everything one day at a time and make sure to balance out your hours and schedule so you have enough time for your kids as they require a lot of love and care, especially when they are at that younger phase in their lives.

Stephany and her sisters are working hard on this plan and she also tells that us they will be launching a plus size body inclusive line along with a new series of skin care products, so stay tuned!
